Nintendo Switch Sports Review
How does Nintendo Switch Sports, the newest entry in the Wii Sports series, hold up? What kind of game is it, and who should get it? Here’s what you need to know about Nintendo Switch Sports before buying!
Hardware Quality & Design
Nintendo has been in game design for over 30 years and is famous for making games accessible and fun. The Nintendo Switch is no different; you can play it on your TV like a normal console, but with a quick snap of two JoyCon controllers to either side of your screen, you have an instantly portable handheld system. The dock also charges your controller while docked, even if they're not snapped in, which means you can easily keep playing while your controller charges.
Gameplay & Connectivity
If you’re looking for a sports video game that’s going to blow your mind with highly complex gameplay mechanics and stunning graphics, Nintendo Switch Sports isn’t it. Rather, it’s a collection of simulators that act as a window into beloved real-world activities—and in terms of connectivity options, it offers one of Nintendo’s best console launches yet.
Battery Life, Ports, Warranty & App Support
The Nintendo Switch ships with two USB-C charging ports, which support 5V/3A and 9V/2A output, meaning you can charge it faster than any other console on the market. The battery life is a big drawback here, however: it lasts just 3-6 hours when playing games. If you’re looking to keep up your gaming sessions longer, be sure to pick up an extra pair of Joy-Con controllers—you can use one as a controller while charging another in its base.
Verdict, Price & Where To Buy
So, what’s my verdict on Nintendo Switch Sports? Well, it’s a pretty standard sports simulation game. If you like that sort of thing, I’d suggest looking into it further. However, if you don’t care for sports games or prefer more intense experiences, there are definitely better alternatives out there in regards to realistic racing games. As for pricing and where to buy it: well again my friend since we're at such an early stage in development I have no idea!
